The Number 1 Mistake Beginner Content Creators Make

It’s not what you think...

Content can be difficult.

You might feel like you will never go viral.

That is because you are most likely shooting low probability shots.

In basketball, if you want the ball to go in the hoop, you should shoot from as close as possible to the hoop.

This is called a “layup”.

In content there is a way to always shoot layups and make sure your content has a high chance of performing well.

You need to stop making completely unique content.

At least at the start.

Unless you know how to make unique content that goes viral consistently (0.1% of creators).

You should be repurposing what works whether that is in your niche or in other niches.

I made this mistake for the first year of making content.

I would write scripts and they would flop.

Once I started doing what was already working for other people and putting my own spin on it.

I started going viral consistently and started making money from my content.

Moral of the story is:

Don’t reinvent the wheel.

Iterate on what has already been working and you are more likely to see success.
