Avoid This Common Mistake When Starting a New Instagram Account
This small concept will make or break your success
Billionaire Venture Capital investor Marc Andreessen when asked the question
“Would you rather the startup you’re investing in have a great team, a great product or a great market?”

Marc chooses market every time.
The market showing healthy growth is the most important.
Without an expanding market it’s difficult to grow as a company.
Everyone has heard the common saying “the riches are in the niches”
And this is 100% true.
But I don’t think that most people realize that it is the most important part of starting a company or growing a social media account.
Choosing the right niche is the difference between gaining thousands of followers per day and struggling to break 100 followers.
So…
How should you go about choosing a niche?
A) Do NOT go into a field that nobody has had success in before.
There is a very likely reason that nobody has been successful here before.
And that is because it doesn’t work.
Unless you are very experienced, do not try this.
You will waste a lot of time and energy.
B) Choose a niche where accounts are growing quickly.
When you research what niche to start in you can go to sites such as social blade.
These analytics sites tell you how quickly accounts are growing.
If the leading accounts in that niche are not growing quickly.
Either the niche is slowing down or there is an opportunity to disrupt and bring something fresh to it.
If the niche is big enough like motivation or health, then there is always something that can be done to make things interesting because these niches revolve around things that will interest humans until the end of time….
Making money and being healthy.
But if the niche is smaller another way to tell if it's slowing down is by checking google trends and seeing if people are still searching for keywords related to that niche.
C) Content testing strategy
You don’t have to be married to a niche.
If your page is not showing promising signs of growth early on, pivot.
Keep testing content and then doubling down on what works.
This doesn’t have to mean switching the general niche entirely, but you can focus on other sub niches in your niche.
For example, if you are in health, you can start making content about different diets.
You are still in the same general niche but in a different sub niche.
Keep doing this until you find content that resonates and then keep doing what’s working.
Remember content is a long-term game if you want to make life-changing money…
